Climbing The Mountain in 2024
Exploring The Three Principles with Sarie Taylor
Often at this time of year, we become all-consumed with the thing we want to achieve in the year ahead, and perhaps dwell on everything we feel we didn't achieve in the year just gone by.
But here's something I want to share with you if you're finding yourself doing the same and feeling a little overwhelmed by it...
Imagine you are stood at the foot of a large mountain wondering how you will ever get to the top?
Even if you start off enthusiastically there will be some times during the climb where you don’t feel you can carry on.
If you are only fixated on the top then its unlikely that you will feel satisfied with the steps you have taken so far, or enjoyed the climb so far, if again your fixation is only on the end result.
Small consistent steps, in the right direction, with full permission to pause and take things at your own pace, for me have always resulted in me achieving way more and meant that I could be happy along the way!
I have realised that there is so much to see, take in and enjoy all the way up the mountain from the bottom to the top.

Getting present and taking care of yourself consistently all year round is highly recommend! Enjoying the highs and being graceful with the lows rather than putting lots of pressure and expectation on one time of year can bring more joy and success.
There is nothing wrong with setting goals and having aspirations! But when they start to cause suffering through our thoughts of failure and inadequacy, then its maybe time to reassess how we motivate ourselves and not put the pressure on for any kind of 'new year new me'!
The current you is more than enough!

Are we overcomplicating mental health?Â
The continuous spiral of talking about mental illness and neglecting to discuss mental health that’s within us all!Â
Finding herself in a mental hospital for a month aged 22, her worst fears of going crazy had come true! Sarie truly believed she was broken for many years, and now sees that this was in part due to massively over complicating what it meant be a human being. After a long period of exploring and training as a psychotherapist, still burning out every 18 months for another ten years, Sarie finally found the answer, and now shares the surprising simplicity of it all to help others get the same relief.Â
Sarie has trained as a transactional analysis psychotherapist, as well as working and training in many other therapeutic disciplines, such as NLP, CBT, DBT and hypnotherapy. Sarie is also an author, celebrity coach and therapist, working with thousands of people a year, of all ages, all over the world. Her main aim is to help them really see the simplicity and beauty behind human nature, getting out of their heads and into their lives, being able to see that the inside out nature of life really is a gift. This removes limitations and stories they may hold about themselves, and as a result finding an ease and contentment in life they often never knew was possible.Â
