Exploring The Three Principles with Sarie Taylor

The insights just keep coming at the moment and I am here for it!

As I said in last weeks blog, I've been having quite a few insights recently.

I feel that, even after all this time in the conversation, my understanding of The Three Principles is deepening, and it feels wonderful.

As I also said in my last email I'm not sure whether this will make sense to any of you, but I just feel really compelled to share it as and when it comes up for me as I go along.

I have known for quite some time that thoughts create feelings, and that I am only ever feeling my thinking. This has made sense on numerous different levels over the years. Yet I am definitely starting to see this on a deeper level recently.

It might seem like a bit of a cop-out for me to say this, but it can feel really hard to explain or find the words sometimes, but ultimately things that are innately within us that we can’t touch and see, can be difficult to explain or express but I will do my very best...

The universal intelligence behind life that you'll hear me talk about is the same intelligence, or energy, or life force that takes care of nature - and it also takes care of us!

On the retreat I went to recently, we talked a lot about trees. Dave, one of the people who hosted the retreat with Dicken, is a tree surgeon and knew a lot about nature in general.

I have used examples of nature myself many times, because that has felt the easiest way to be able to share and express with people how phenomenal we are as human beings. Using nature in my analogies and examples can help me show my members, clients and followers (and you, reading my blogs!) how everything is always taken care of and no matter what, we all have perfect well-being right within us every second of every day.

Often people will accept that, and when I share these examples, they can see that we are part of this bigger universal intelligence behind life.

Yet, even when we accept it or begin to understand it, we can still find ourselves getting really overwhelmed so how does that make sense?

If we are aware that we're feeling our thinking and that we are guided by a bigger intelligence behind life, why would we place so much focus and belief and on those thoughts, if we know they actually they are illusionary?

Any thoughts or memories about the past no longer exist because the past doesn’t exist right now in this very moment. Any thoughts or predictions we have about the future also don't exist right now.

Let's take a tree as an example of what I am sharing.

A tree doesn't have a brain. I think we can probably agree on that and that the grass doesn't have a brain?!

However, a tree can think.

Trees talk to each other and communicate through chemical signals. They release compounds ( I don't fully understand the science so don’t quote me on the details!) into the air, sending messages to other trees warning them of danger or threats of any kind.

They will communicate through their root-system, exchanging nutrients and sharing information between each other.

Trees don’t exactly work like us, but they certainly do respond to their environment in really quite complex and detailed ways.

So you could say that trees, and nature itself, are extremely sophisticated - thoughts and ideas are coming through them. That is what we mean by universal thought.

It's different to the personal thinking that we have in the intellect. As humans, we have an added gift of intellect which we can use for good. We can collect information, gather information  and our intellect can make us really great at something, and efficient.

But in terms of our suffering, that comes when we don't understand that we also have that universal intelligence behind life coming through us as mind, thought & consciousness.

I won't go in to more detail here because I'm still just enjoying basking in feeling even more deeply connected to The Three Principles each day.

That might sound a bit woowoo or cheesy to you - and that's ok as it would have done to me too all those years ago before I really began exploring The Three Principles, but I really hope some of this resonates with you to help you see something different for yourself.

If you take away just one thing from today's article - my tumble of insights - let it be this:

Just like the trees, and the grass, and the rest of nature, the universal intelligence behind life that helps them communicate and guides them in order to access what they need, is also coming through you - and that is all we need in order to be okay.

If all we were accessing on a day-to-day basis was our universal intelligence, we would be continuously present and we wouldn't be suffering. But we do suffer, because we get caught up in our intellect so easily - it's so easy to pay attention to our ego and personal thinking... because we're human!

As ever I would love to hear any thoughts on this, does it resonate with you?

Do you see anything?

Have you ever considered before that nature doesn't have a brain and yet certainly thinks or responds to things like we do as humans?

If you enjoyed this blog, or feel that it's sparked something in you, and you would love to explore further, the best place to do this right now with me is in The Membership, which is the place where I will be continuously sharing what I see to be true with my members and clients - and watching the understanding unfold to  reduce the temptation to get caught up in our heads, become more present and bring in more inner peace and joy.

It's always simpler than we 'think'.

Are we overcomplicating mental health?

The continuous spiral of talking about mental illness and neglecting to discuss mental health that’s within us all!

Finding herself in a mental hospital for a month aged 22, her worst fears of going crazy had come true! Sarie truly believed she was broken for many years, and now sees that this was in part due to massively over complicating what it meant be a human being. After a long period of exploring and training as a psychotherapist, still burning out every 18 months for another ten years, Sarie finally found the answer, and now shares the surprising simplicity of it all to help others get the same relief.

Sarie has trained as a transactional analysis psychotherapist, as well as working and training in many other therapeutic disciplines, such as NLP, CBT, DBT and hypnotherapy. Sarie is also an author, celebrity coach and therapist, working with thousands of people a year, of all ages, all over the world. Her main aim is to help them really see the simplicity and beauty behind human nature, getting out of their heads and into their lives, being able to see that the inside out nature of life really is a gift. This removes limitations and stories they may hold about themselves, and as a result finding an ease and contentment in life they often never knew was possible.
